Who We Are

In 1930, Texind opened its doors under the leadership of Mr. B.C. Munshaw in the name and style of 'Asian Textile Engineering' with the primary object of importing textile machinery & spare parts. He co-founded ITAMMA (www.itamma.org), the Indian Textile Accessories and Machinery Manufacturers' Association in 1943 to help combat the problems faced in the Textile Industry. In the year 1949, he started importing textile machinery and founded Texind Corporation.

Since 1949, Texind Corporation has catered to the Indian Textile Industry and has primarily been a "Textile Agency House". We have introduced and promoted several international & domestic textile companies in the past, specifically European brands for Beam Knotting/Warp Tying Machines in India.

Since 2014, we are a multi product-trading agency and have diversified our product range into the Lighting Industry, specifically LED lights.

We value our customers' needs and requirements and thus provide after sale services such as spare parts for the textile machinery as well cater to servicing of machinery and customization for LED lights & its installations.
